University of Kentucky - Miller Hall

Lexington, KY

This project consisted of the complete interior and exterior renovation of a central building on main campus, a four story 1898 classroom building. The renovated facility provides appropriately designed spaces for the Honors Program, Geography, Undergraduate Advising and Architecture Studios and Offices. Elimination of the central stair made it possible to revise circulation within the building and therefore allow more flexible use of the building. An elevator was added and restrooms were relocated and enlarged for compliance with ADA. Other renovations included new site retaining walls and entry stair, repointing all brickwork, a new roof and complete replacement of existing windows.
